The properties of the binary alloys are not adequate for many applications. Certain properties of Cupronickel 70 / 30 Sheets from Venus Special Metals can be significantly increased by several additions. Nickel has a marked effect on the colour of these alloys, where the copper colour becomes lighter as nickel is added. With enough of these elements in Cupronickel 70 / 30 Plates, the austenitic structure may be obtained at room temperature.
