Alloy 20 element turns alloy as a proofing agent against chloride-ion-stress-corrosion. A combination of nickel-molyoaenum-chromium alloy 20 along with an addition of some amount of tungsten polishes it to be exceptionally resistant to corrosion in severe environments.
