It is resistant to strong oxidizing chlorides, reducing acids, hot seawater and brine solutions. These Alloy C276 Sheets is used in a variety of environments from moderately oxidizing to strong reducing conditions. Hot forming should be performed within a temperature range between 1600 Degree F and 2250 Degree F (870 Degree C – 1230 Degree C) with heavier sections heated to a minimum of 2000 Degree F before forming.

These Alloy C276 Plates offered by Venus Special Metals is a versatile austenitic nickel – chromium – molybdenum – tungsten alloy. Parts which have been hot – formed should be solution heat – treated prior to final fabrication or installation, if possible. A prime advantage of these Hastelloy C276 Coils is that it generally does not require solution heat treatment after welding.
