Inconel 601 is a combination of nickel-chromium-alloy. Resistant to high temperature and oxidization. The alloy in it generates an oxide scale which averts spalling even under extreme thermal cycling. Alloy provides better resistance to aqueous corrosion. UNS N06600 ASME Boiler Code Section I. III. VIII, IX SAE AMS 5540. 5580, 5665 ASTM B 163 B 165 B 68 has high machine strong point and is freely shaped, welded.
INCONEL Alloy 601 (UNS N06601) is available in varied forms such as round, flats, forging stock, pipe, tube, plate, sheet, strip and wire. It is effectively used in industrial furnaces; petrochemical and other process equipment; such as baskets, muffles and retorts, petrochemical and other process equipment; and gas-turbine components.
